Grit is broadly defined as the perseverance and passion toward long-term goals. Grit is also measured with one’s perseverance and passion towards aims and achievement of long-term goals. Good is mainly measured by the amount of one’s sustained and consistent effort towards achievement of some goal. The bad grit is that attitude or drive, when mainly harm is caused rather than the good. In these cases, grit cannot be considered as good for this could again bring negative consequences and repercussions. Good grit on the other hand, refers to the inner strengths and drives which ultimately brings the good results. Dumb grit is something, when that grit is aimed forward for bringing negative and detrimental effect for one’s personality.
